Hi!

I'm Michael Caravella, and I am a doctoral candidate in physical therapy, a strength and conditioning specialist, a personal trainer, and the founder of Vella Health.

After earning an Associate in Arts Degree from Palm Beach State College in 2016, I studied Pre-Clinical Health Science and Health Services Administration at the University of Central Florida, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2018. I am currently completing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy with the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, from which I will graduate in 2025.

My personal training certification has been maintained with the National Academy of Sports Medicine since 2018, as well as my certification as a strength and conditioning specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2020.

As a former collegiate athlete, I continue to compete with myself in exploring different styles, frequencies, and intensities in exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle. Expanding my perspective allows me not only to disseminate as much positivity as I can in life personally, but also to optimize my approach in care for the individual in front of me as holistically as I know how to at that time professionally.

I have worked with many walks of life including professional athletes and Olympians on world-class pitches to patients with severe medical conditions in rehabilitation clinics and hospitals to everything in between. The camaraderie developed in my relationships with whom I work makes this role I have in life incredibly special to me, and to take part in the process of someone else's life actively becoming better is an extraordinary honor. There is no greater observation than witnessing someone achieve something they once thought they couldn't. Those experienced expressions light my world up. Those experiences are why I created Vella Health.

Along with my love for this career, I love any new life experience where I can simply laugh and enjoy the moment. Different experiences and the emotions that come with them make every moment matter. From nature to art, from friends to family, from my life to yours, the future is bright. Pass Torches, and we all become brighter, together.
